Chloe just turned 10 years old. What a darling girl! She was rescued in January 2007 when she was about 6 months old. Sweet Chloe was abandoned at a boarding facility when her previous family no longer wanted her, we just could not bare the thought of her going to the shelter.
When we brought Chloe home, she became immediately bonded with Abby, a nervous rescue we brought home about 5 months earlier and fit in with the rest of the pack without issue. She is very easy going and loves everybody.
Soon after joining us, Chloe started yelping when she would play or run. Sadly, when she was taken to the vet, we discovered that Chloe had been kicked hard enough to break her femur and according to the vet, she had been living with the injury for quite sometime. 
So our little Chloe had surgery and was all fixed up. It is sad to think that someone could do that to a puppy? Chloe walks with a funny little wiggle because of her injury, however she never let that stop her, she just keeps smiling. 
An absolute cutie, Chloe is loved by everyone...almost as much as she loves everyone.
